Worldwide Escorted & Guided Tours
While the world at large may not be very childfree friendly, there are several options
when it comes to seeing the world in a childfre environment. More than a few tour
companies have tours especially for adults or create their tours and itineraries to
appeal to a more adult audience. In the end, the traveler is able to visit the world
while enjoying the company of others in their age range.

The difference between escorted and guided tours:

Escorted Tours are normally conducted by a tour director who takes care of all guest
services from beginning to end. Tours normally include hotels, transportation,
transfers to the airport/hotel, most meals and sightseeing; some may even include
flights. These types of tours travel by motor-coach and usually no more than 2 nights
are spent in each location visited.

Guided Tours are similar to escorted tours but passengers are greeted by a local
representative instead of a tour director and are not personally escorted to all
activities and functions, however local guides are available to answer questions
through the duration of the tour. Some meals, accommodations and sightseeing may
be included. This style is ideal for people who want some freedom while they travel
but still appreciate the comfort of a knowledgable guide and pre-planned itinerary.
